Banjo Bolts torque?

Getting Ready to install a small 20G on my 98 TSI.

Ok, went above and beyond and got a whole set of new crushwashers for both the water i/o and the oil feedline.

So looking at the actual banjo bolt and it looks like it needs to be lined up from "corner to corner" in order for the hole in the bolt to get the max feed from the line correct?

If thats the case I have a problem, with one crush washer on top and the other on the bottom, the corners line up just at finger tight, if I want to go to the to max torque spec for the water line banjo bolt, which is 36, the bolts journal doesn't "lineup" right with the feed? If I go any further I risk breaking shit.

What am I missing here?

TIA fellas.......

Re: Banjo Bolts torque?

"Doesn't matter, the bolt is machined out all the way around so that the passages don't have to line up."
