Rear strut bushing seized- never mind, got it off.

The bushing that sits inside the strut at the bottom is seized to the peg. I used a dyno strap to get the suspension of, but one of the bushings didn't come off with it. I tried putting a vice grip on it and hitting it around, but no luck. I wanted to know if anyone had any tips on what to do, besides throw the car away. Any suggestions are helpful. I know most people who have done the rear suspension on these cars knows what i'm talking about

Never-mind, got it off.

Re: Rear strut bushing seized

This happens to almost all of them. Just use a die grinder and make a slot in the bushing, then you can put a screwdriver in it and split it open. Takes 10 minutes. You can also use a sawall but it is more difficult.
