4 fast 4 furious
As much as I hate the films, number four has an Ford Escort Cosworth RS200, arguably the best 4wd turbo car in the world. I have too much respect for that car to not give it every bit of attention I can.

Re: 4 fast 4 furious
We all know that the DSM is the best 4wd turbo car in the world silly. I would never agree with saying that a Ford Escort is good at anything cosworth or not . .

Re: 4 fast 4 furious
I have a love hate relationship with these movies. I hate the corny-ness of the movies, but love picking out the things that are wrong. And from time to time a cool car is in it, like the mustang with the rb26...awesome . Btw dsm's>escort's, cosworth or not.

Re: 4 fast 4 furious
Comsidering the Cosworth Escort only made 10 more BHP than a stock DSM and cost over 40,000 euros I'd agree that DSM > Escort
They are sweet little cars though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_RS200 Read up
For a standard production car, the fastest road-tested acceleration reported at the time occurred in 1993, when a Ford RS200 Evolution went from zero to 26.8 m/s (60 mi/h) in 3.275 seconds. Two separate RS200s have both reported 0-100km/h times of 2.1 seconds
These cars launch so much harder then a DSM

They were great in their time. Technology has left them in the dust, kinda like DSM's.

Well from what I know, the Evolution model was limited edition, something like 24 of them were made. They make like 600hp on a modded cosworth motor. That doesnt sound like a standard production car to me. Its kind of unfair to compare it based on that.

Re: 4 fast 4 furious
i'll watch it for my entertainment. I'm a BIG movie guy, so i can see the wrongs and rights in the movie (aka Movie Critic).
-I'll admit the FAF1 did have an interesting plot to it though for when it was made back than.
- FAF2= ubbber fail, it was a joke like the Batman and Robin movie, the one with George Clooney
- FAF:TD= great entertainment, a few who didnt know much of the drift scene are sort of into it. They succeeded in making much much more fans for drifting though. cheezy storyline but it was entertaining.

How ricey it was, is what made it an embarassment. It inspired hundreds of people to put a blitz body kit and a goddy(sp?) wing. Oh and let us not forget the sick graphics.

newsflash, an RS200 is not a Cosworth Escort. Its a completely separate Group B rallycar. Its even got a mid-mounted motor and a fucking space frame!
