90 tranny question

What do I need to put a 1990 awd tranny into my 1992 awd car other than: 90 shifter cables/assembly/gear selector, transfer case. Will my 92 axels work? Same clutch too?

Re: 90 tranny question

dont' forget that bracket that holds the cable down on the 90 tranny. the 91+ brackets are slightly different.

you should be fine with those.

Re: 90 tranny question

You don't have to swap shifters, cables, etc. Pull the shifter arm off of the '92 trans and reuse it on the '90 trans with the '92 cable bracket.
