Downpipe/Catback Questions
***All info needed is for a 2G AWD***
I have my mind set on the HKS Carbon TI catback. Looking for info on a downpipes. I was going to go with the Apexi GT but found out that they are about 3in longer then where the cat would end. Which means it wont bolt up to that exhaust.
Anybody know of any SS downpipes that are good? looking for a good name brand and whatnot.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Downpipe/Catback Questions
I believe RRE downpipes are meant to bolt up to Apexi catbacks. Does HKS make a downpipe? Any of the local shops could probably fabbed you something up too.

He is looking for a downpipe compatible with HKS cat-back. I think you should make a Pacesetter 1G AWD downpipe work, and stfu. Haha JK Mike

No shit? Why do you think I asked if he looked for a HKS downpipe? I also mentioned any local shop could probably fab up one to work.

Re: Downpipe/Catback Questions
$150, there may be a little shipping though.
And I have heard some very good things about their products, although I haven't personally seen any of them other than a muffler...

Re: Downpipe/Catback Questions
I have a Megan resonated testpipe on my S2k and I will say their products are beautiful. It fit perfectly (S2k's cats are curved so its not just a straight pipe), the welds are the best I've ever seen, and it was very shiny

Yup, SS hardware too. The gasket was also included. I highly recomend their exhaust products to anyone no matter what kind of car. I'm tempted to give their coilovers a shot too because supposedly they are just relabeled Apexi units.

I have heard good things about Megan products too. The Evo crowd seems to like their coil overs.
