dsm groups in cali?

I moved to California....I just got here yesterday. I'll be here for 6 months and I read this board a lot. I was wondering if any of you know of any dsm groups or websites that are local to sandiego.

Any help would be appreciated. I need to by a car soon and I want to find a local dsm group.

thanks

Yeah I was wondering the same about DFW for when I move back there. There's Dallas DSM but that blows in comparison to this site Something tells me most local DSM sites are gonna blow compared to this site.

I know Tom has lots of DSM buddies out in Cali, I'm sure he'll chime in and let you know whats up out there. Minneapolis does have an incredible DSM community though!

Talk about it...only thing I know about Cleveland area. That most of the DSMers are either west of me out by Norwalk or south in kent area. I do miss the MN DSM group. Thats why I still go to this site.

In his post he asked for the San Diego area, so I would assume San Diego...

sddsm.org

I don't really know anyone there anymore. The main ones I knew have moved to different platforms. But I do believe the SDDSM site is still around. Plus you have the best DSM shop known to man kind an hour north of you!

I wouldnt call them the best. But they are good at some things. Honestly i would rather trust my car at the local shops in MN.
For Tuning they have Scot Grey which is a cool guy as well as awesome tuner.
They used to be close with Muellerized racing or some shit, they may still be, The owner of Muellarized is a fucking dick and every time i see that fuck i just wanna kick him in his fat ass face, then shove my foot in his girlfriends twat.

Re: dsm groups in cali?

It comes down to Personal Expirence for me. Yeah im sure they have had many accomplishments. But on my personal expirences with a partner of theirs, (Muellarized) and once with them.
Expirence with RRE:
I called up asking how much it would be to make some IC Piping for my car for the FMIC i got off of Ebay with the same dimensions as i think it was the greddy one. 36" from end to end. Pretty standard deal. YOu would think the gods of RRE should be able to make IC Piping pretty easy. Yeah they quoted me $870.00. I swiftly told them to fuck off and hung up. Ended up making the piping myself for under $100 including welding.
Expirence with Muellarized:
Went to the So Cal DSM meet. Pull up (back when i had my red GSX with the HKS SSQV) he and his retarded girlfriend proceeded to tell me how i was killing my turbo by using that Blow off valve. Overall just a dick in general.
Next time i saw the guy was 3 years later at a local meet, I was like "yeah i remember you, whats up?" He replies with "Ahh your the guy that was killing his turbo with the HKS blow off valve" and his retard GF "yeah i remember that red GSX ha ha ha ha ha" Fuck that ass hole.

But like i said, i thought Scot grey was really cool and am planning on having him tune my car at RRE. And Mike W has Great customer service. But as in the Slowboy thread, it comes down to how you represent your business.

BTW: I know im spelling like AJ but its been a long day at work.

Re: dsm groups in cali?

RRE is the best DSM company I have ever worked with, EVER. I used to drive 4 hours to their shop from Yuma to get shit because I knew I could count on them. I ordered everything for my car from them when I lived there. They have never once left me hanging. I had one little issue with them once regarding their strict credit card policy, but that was dealt with very well. They are good to deal with, they are fair, they don't come off cocky or godly. They are straight forward, and just great people to deal with! Not sure what else one could ask for.

RRE is great from my experience, they know what they are talking about and offer fair prices.

Need I remind everyone of my cam issue with RRE? I never expected any company to handle it as well as they did.
