Re: How to seperate AWD CV shaft from intermediate shaft?

you're talking about seperating the cv shaft from the half shaft that bolts to the block, correct? If so, grab a pry bar and a BFH and "encourage" them apart. They're a pain in the ass, since most of the time they don't like to seperate.

Re: How to seperate AWD CV shaft from intermediate shaft?

You can hammer on that half shaft part (that bolts to the block) and eventually it will separate. I've had to do this only a few times but everytime it only took like 10 wind-up hits. =)

Yep had the same problem with my 2g, I pretty much ruined my half shaft seperating them. I did the same thing everyone else did though hammer the $hit out of it.
