HELP! Gas is comming out my exhaust!

Alright, So I just got my motor rebuilt again, for the 4th time in its life. I just threw on an oem MLS head gasket, but im still rocking all my forged internals, and my hot cams... Im going to stay N/A for now, until I get the car running good, and the motor broke in real good.

I finnaly started the car today,
I drove it to town and came home (about 30 miles total) shut it off and let it sit for a few hours.

I went outside just a bit ago to drive it again and it had a super hard time starting, It chugged and chugged and It sounded like it was missing on one cylinder, and I have White smoke comming out my exhaust... after a little bit, i noticed some kind of fluid leaking out of the little crack in my header, I shut the car off and put some of the fluid on my finger to look at it and smell it... It was gas... Any Ideas on what I might have done wrong, or something broke?

sure its gas and not oil??? I've had oil build up on the edge of my mani's before.... do you have the timing belt 100% correct??? maybe that could be letting some gas out before its burned...

Ryan, Yes, my timing is on 100% perfect, My EGR vacum line was broke, so i replaced it with a rubber vacum line. I do have spark, compression is good accross all four, fuel output is normal, and fuel pressure is normal. Im 100% sure its gas and not oil. Im confused as hell.

Need more details on your setup. What size injectors? Are you using anything to control the larger injectors (if so equipped)?

Try a stock fuel pump too, a 255 will overrun the stock FPR.

Re: HELP! Gas is comming out my exhaust!

Ok guys, here is the newest update... Before the most recient rebuild I was using an AEM F/IC on the car while running Crane 0018 cams... The motor blew, I sold the AEM, to get money to fund my turbo kit build up (Decided to rock manual fuel tuning) I rebuilt the motor and I am still using the 0018 cams... however, you can only run these cams with a Air and Fuel controler, or an electronic Fuel management unit. So this means I have to downgrade my cam size or get another AEM F/IC...

Jungy and I are going to swap cams this Friday, he has the 0014s. After I install the 14s I will see if my problem is fixed, If not, I will have to replace the HG, and check for any other damage...

But according to research, the cams seem to be the problem...
