damn talon almost done
So its been 7 months since my 91 tsi blew up, recently we got crackin on it got a fully built race head with brian crower parts springs etc and upon trying the first start it did the same thing it did when it seized up. Time to check the starter, well it tested great so we started the tear down yet again. Upon anylizing the motor we found that nearly every rod bearing was completly torn up and bad. Also found a 10 mm hex nut along with a lock washer in the motor! And from us turning it over I bent all the valves! So now its off to map to get bearings etc. We found the tranny housing was cracked also! I want to know who owned this car before me! Anyway was wondering what to do with a new motor for a break in. It will have new internals along with that head. I've heard mixed opinions on how long to break it in just lookin for suggestions! So far we have fmic tucked wiring harness, magnus mani, 680 cc precision injectors, safc and some ryymz! Just bored figured I'd throw up the progress
