Mitsubishi diaqueen in t-case?

There are so many threads concerning trans & t-case fluids and I can not find the answer to my question everything seems to be about oem alternatives. I bought 3 qts of diaqueen from Jacks transmissions for my trans and I'm wondering if I can use this in my transfer case also?

Re: Mitsubishi diaqueen in t-case?

No. Wrong Diaqueen. The transfer case uses a GL-5 type Diaqueen called 90W LSD; same that's used in the rear differential. Plenty of people do use GL-4 fluids in the transfer case, but it is not the correct recommended fluid.
