First turbo install

Hey guys I just got my evo III 16g and fuel pump in the mail and this weekend I tore everything apart.
It was really not that hard I just took my time and tried hard not to break anything.
So I need one turbo bolt and I need to port my exhaust manifold and o2 housing and I will be ready to put in the new snail.
I can't wait I havent driven the car in 6 mos.
I do need a manifold to head stud also because It was broke even before I started???? whatever.
Vfaq.com rocks
now I have to tackle my fuel pump also

Re: First turbo install

well since you asked I do have a question I am porting my o2 housing and exh manifold and I am not quite sure on how to do the o2 housing.
I know the bottom I just enlarge to fit the new 2.5 in gasket but I'm not sure what to do about the wastegate passage.
Should I port it like this??

Re: First turbo install

I would recommend leaving a seperation between the wg and exhaust ports. It really isn't doing you any good anyway. The main thing is the inside of the O2 housing. It necks down quite a bit inside, but is hard to get to.
