cleaning?

i recently spun a rod bearing in my 7 bolt and i was just wondering do i need to clean any thing out like the turbo drain tube.... i am going to reuse the turbo and may be the head but im getting a different block or motor

Yes you should clean everything. This recently happened to me as well and I brought my head to MAP and they pulled all the plugs and washed it all. Plus things like the oil drain need to be cleaned because you wouldnt want to just reintroduce metal back into the oiling system again and have it all happen again right away.
Short answer....Clean everything.

3M brake cleaner works very well for cleaning stuff like oil lines.

+1 on the 3M brake cleaner (specifically that one) and there's mixed reviews on whether or not you should replace your oil cooler or just clean it.

Ya it can be pretty difficult to know whether or not you've cleaned the oil cooler good enough.

Replace the oil cooler, there is no way to get all the metal bits out.
