Projector Headlights

Ok, do they hook up the exact same as a stock headlight? Like basically unplug the old ones, pop in the new. Or is there more involved. And to make them that HID blue/white look, does that just require different bulbs?

The projectors that I've seen are just the headlights themselves. The factory lights and harnesses just plug back into them.
