Engine build

I am wondering if you guys build engines? And how long it would take,The only reason I want someone build it is because I never built anything over 300hp car,and I have about a week and a half to get it built. How much do you think that would be? I have all of the parts thanks

A week and 1/2 is pushing it man. They are probably pretty booked up, but I am not sure. Give them a call. 612-521-0550

Re: Engine build

Good luck. It takes any decent machine shop a week to turn around your stuff, not to mention little parts that you've probably forgot. That's just too short of a timeframe. I'd get a winter pounder to drive and allow time for your motor to be done the right way.

Re: Engine build

Elite is busy as it is right now. there's a black 2g that's on it's way out, that needs to still be finished..some clutch issues. There is a few other cars slated to. On top of that, shane is out for a week for vacation, and mo is overseas. So, good luck getting it done any time soon. I'd say call back in a week or two, and try to schedule it. I don't think the winter schedule is too busy as of yet, but with the turn-around time, machine shop time, and build time with getting parts, it will def. take longer then a week.

Re: Engine build

I knew it was a longshot but I tried. The thing is I'm taking the car down to GA so looks like I'll be staying stock block,or I'll buy an extra block to build. Thanks though

Re: Engine build

Burschur may have a stage 1 in stock which can handle 400-450 hp. $1500 + your core.
It's not a bad deal for a ready to go shortblock assembly.
