Re: Project S14 240sx
This kinda makes me want to keep the 240 I have!
Just do a KA-T, don't bother with swaps
I think you can get those Z32 TT brakes for kinda cheap

Re: Project S14 240sx
I found an E-brake assembly on Ebay last night for $20 so I bought that, and I'll be picking up an LC-1 wideband for it soon. Gonna start tackling the wiring here in a little while.

Got a glimpse if this beast tonight, looking good! I *cannot* believe that you already raised the suspension, it still looks slammed!

Re: Project S14 240sx
We didn't raise the back, just the front about an inch. But yeah, the rear tires are still tucked up into the 1/4 panels.
Today I got the speedometer wiring figured out, but I think there's supposed to be a resistor or something in there cuz it reads twice as fast as I'm actually going. Leaving Old Chicago tonight I was about 3/4 down the entrance ramp to 494 and all the sudden the thing fell on it's face. The speedo pegged out at 120 and I hit the speed limiter even though I was actually only going 60 mph. Gonna have to look into that more to figure out what's up.

Re: Project S14 240sx
yep looked like the last flange likes to scrape the ground over bumps and sparks nicely.

Re: Project S14 240sx
I know the resonator/rear flange likes to drag and make sparks, but what is Mark talking about a blue flame?

Re: Project S14 240sx
Got my Mille Miglia wheels installed today, the car looks much better now. I had to leave the spacers on there since the front alignment is fucked, tires were hitting the coilovers. But the tires sit nice and flush so I don't think I'll change it since they're bolt on spacers. I didn't take any pics cuz the thing is fucking dirty right now, but I'll try to get some in the next few days.
Hopefully I'll be getting the e-brake handle installed tomorrow, and my 5 speed ecu should be showing up any day now.

Re: Project S14 240sx
I got the new e-brake handle installed yesterday, it's so nice to have a functioning e-brake. Also got the 5 speed ecu installed, but it didn't help the speedo problem, so I'm probably gonna have to source an engine harness.
In the last two days I spent way too much money though... Yesterday I bought an S15 helical LSD to replace the welded diff that's in the car now. That was $540 shipped, but it came with brand new output shafts so it was worth it.
I had also been looking at putting a JDM spoiler on it and had planned on getting a white one from ebay, but while looking around, I found a carbon fiber replica of the spoiler I wanted that was a little cheaper, so I bought that this morning.

Re: Project S14 240sx
Yeah, I'll probably pick up the JDM sideskirts and the rear bumper eventually
