Winter mods?
Was about to ask Pete about the Genesis, but figure there might be more people doing some upgrades this winter.
I'm just looking to install a lot of parts that I've had on hand:
Jay racing active toe elims
Amplifier
Buy sub
Orange gear display
change out gauge layout/sell some
Fix headliner
Install new door panels that aren't cracked.
That's all I can think of right now.

Re: Winter mods?
For the bike I just picked up a multi-hub box for my power commander so I can have two tunes at the flick of a switch and allows for a better setup for nitrous. Things I still want to do and buy
*Want to get a nitrous setup (spray bar kit)
*Velocity Stacks
*A new air filter
*Tune
*Getting rearsets and passenger pegs powder coated by Powder Keg
Probably clean and wax the frs this weekend too along with install the mudflaps and antenna I have sitting around

Re: Winter mods?
I might do a little different setup on the daily driver DSM. I have an FP manifold so I might go with a 5858 sized turbo and ditch the Super 20g, but that would require a new downpipe too.
Definitely getting a stereo installed with sub. It has separates up front already. I might go with ECMlink instead of the concoction it has in there now.
I am not sure if I am doing anything with the silver talon or not, I go around between getting it running again to parting it out.

Re: Winter mods?
I have a lot going on this winter
New engine: map stage shortblock with a built head with ferrea components, +1mm valves and ported and polished.
Clutch rebuild kit
Upgraded clutch fork
New turbo (probably a BW billet 67mm s400sx)
Full blown dual pump hanger to get rid of the rusty modified stocker
Fix or replace my wideband
Fix my fuel pressure gauge inside the car
Put some carpet in it to clean up the interior a little
I'm sure there are other little odds and ends I'm forgetting right now too

Re: Winter mods?
I'm leaving the Evo alone. I'm just going to flush the brake fluid, maybe change the pads/rotors if they look like they need it.
The Ford Raptor I bought is getting wrapped in Xpel Stealth paint protection film to make it Satin Black right after I pick it up from the dealer. I bought some d-rings with tabs that I'm going to mount in the box with the OEM bolts that hold the bed to the frame so I have some tiedown points, and an Access rollup tonneu cover.
I'm going to take a shot at making an LED light bar for it too(for something to do while I'm in MN unemployed in Feb). I might end up buying different wheels for it, but, I'm trying to resist that.

The only thing I want to do to the Genesis this winter is install some lowering springs on it. Maybe buy some wheels if a deal comes along... Ridin' on dubs bishes!

What is it like I guess? EF2, a big turbo? TS? Something that will spool like a 16G and make power like a 61mm?

600 vs. 600 sounds about fair, should be a good sounding race too.
