lowering spring question?

I am kicking around dropping my car a bit ( 1-1.5 inches ). My car started off as a 95 GST and was converted to awd. Would I run into any fitment issues with springs if I just bought the standard 2G awd springs? Reason I ask is I already ran into some front brake differences as the car still has the smaller gst rotors...
