It would be a lot easier if I could find a wideblock 4g63 or 4g64. I have not started looking into rear ends but I could imagine I could have a huge list of possibilities. I want the car to hook up and hopefully with the right combination of tranny/rear end I could end up with some high top speeds also. haha! I plan on spinning the motor to well into 9000 rpm and making 400-500 HP with a 35R or maybe 50 trim?

I have a couple of questions:

What do current owners of a T56/FC/T5 know about them? Power levels? TQ holding? possible to spin to 9000RPM?
should I use solid motor mounts?
Will evo intake manifolds bolt onto a 1g/2g 4g63? I have some rerouting to do with the manifolds but oh well they will be getting replaced anyway.

Any other comments/suggestions welcome!!

I had a T-56 in my lt1 turbo 2 with 4.10 gear in 6th gear at 55mph you are about 1700 RPM. I have a buddy the has a 450RWHP NA ls1 FC with a 150 shot the rear end has work good for him.
