i have been searching for hours for a picture of what our 1g gas tanks look like removed before i cut in to that hump good thing i did ....
one way i was thinking on how to do it is cut it in a x pattern and folding it down and welding it. would it work ? anyone cut in to these is the metal thick or light ..?
the reasoning behind this is i have to fit a lot of stuff in my car for the move and i dont have a lot of space the hump cuts it down a bit and makes it so there is no room for a sub if i wanted one ... and i want one in there
with the factory spare and wood in there you get 6-7 in from the top of the hatch to the floor with the hump removed id get 14.5 H 36 W L 28 with the seats up
