I kinda can't believe I bought an Evo 9.
EARLY monday morning my friend showed me a craigslist ad, for that car just as a joke. I saw it was a nine, and couldn't believe it. It was a trade in at Maplewood Toyota, and they sent it over to their bargain lot in Inver Grove Heights.
The car has 120k miles on it, which is a little high. Oh well

The car is 1 owner, has a clean title and carfax. The Brembos having flaking clearcoat, and the car has quite a few rock chips on the hood. Body is very nice, no small dents or medium scratches. Interior is nice, the driver's side Recaro is showing some wear. It has a silly aftermarket front bumper on it, which made me guess some kind of accident. The fenders, rad. core support, and hood all look mint and stock, still have vin tags. I'd really like a stock bumper, but they are pricey NEW. The car has some sort of turbo-back exhaust, and with the silencer in is soo quiet.
The BAD:
SRS light is on (which made me skeptical of an accident, but I saw zero evidence, and the carfax was clean). I will fix this.
When I test drove the car, the ACD lights were all illuminated, after driving. After they washed the car and kept it inside over night, the ACD has been acting normally. Fluid level is normal. I just assume it was snow, or cold related.
The car has an ebay header, which is CRACKED. Luckily! The stock manifold is in the trunk, along with the factory intake and intercooler piping

AND, the left side of the car bounces a little: Makes me think a shock is blown. *Sigh* new parts.
Muffler strap that secures the muffler is broken!!
Other than that stuff, I think I got a decent car for how cheap it was!
