I guess I should have worded it better. You should only have to worry about using non oxygenated fuel for older vehicles. Tests have shown that the contents of the oxy fuels can damage older fuels systems. So basically if you are storing your vehicle a lot and not driving it regularly, or if its really old a non oxy fuel would be a better choice. I am not sure if this pertains to DSMs, I would guess not because I have never heard of shit wearing out because of oxy fuels.
