I think there's a way to tell from your VIN #, but I could be wrong. Stop by one of the dealers and they could probably decipher it from your VIN.

The dealer should be able to get it from the serial number part of your VIN. Last 6 digits.

I did a quick search on tuners and this was in the first thread. I know it says it is for a 90 but there was someone on tuners that verified his paint code on his 97. You should still be able to get the code, however, this link might not say the correct color.
