My car comes stock with 17X7.5 and a 235/40/17 tires.

Just not sure why youd upgrade... I doubt you will notice a difference. Getting better tires is where you will see a difference in handling.

But its cool, if you want to do it, I just doubt rolling the fenders will be cheap.

235s even after a drop seems like the limit. Are you looking to lower it too? If not then the 235s would clear no problem, like you said.

If you are looking to lower it and run 3/4" wider tire then I wouldnt doubt it one bit that you would need a little fender rolling. If so, start a thread on MNSC, there are more than one person that has a fender roller. Not just a baseball bat(which works) and I am sure they would be willing to borrow it out for a small fee. Remember, slammed Hondas have a hard time running more than a 215, so fender rollers are definitely out there, especially on MNSC.

Ahhh. For some reason I was thinking 8" wheels was the place to start for wider than 225's, not sure why. Disregard.
