Ya trust me. You can run 11's without doing that I know... you always think, as long as it's off, I should port it out for more hp, blah blah, but you aren't outflowing stock with just a 50trim. Opening the intake side up would actually make that 50 trim work harder because there is more volume that would have to be made up with air. By looking at your mods list, there's no reason you shouldn't be running deep into the 11's with what you got if you aren't already.
I see you run a SouthBend DXD. I run their DXD OFE clutch with the heavier duty pressue plate. Way better than the ACT2600 that I had without the need for the bionic leg. I will never switch back to ACT.
What's your E.T. goals anyway.
