i bet drive train loss is somewhere around 15-18%. At least that would be the case with the EVO, and im sure the early dsm's are different but you can expect about that much.
According to what the stockish EVO's dynoed at, loss must be over 20% or closer to 25%. That doesn't sound unreasonable does it? Maybe on a dynojet you could figure 15%?

Was the dyno in 'shootout mode'? I heard that might make it read a little higher hp numbers than it otherwise would because of corrections being different. I was reading about the dyno dynamics dyno after the dyno day to learn more about them, and that's what I got out of it -- besides about 3 different forums calling them the heartbreak dyno because of lower readings than any others.

My stock evo dyno'd at 233/248 stock is like 278 or somewhere around their so you figure about 18% or so. 25% is high.

Well I was thinking yours was the one that was claimed to have a couple pounds more boost than stock? Am I maybe thinking of the 227hp one below then?

Here's the two I was going off mostly:
evo 8: 271 rated - 212awhp = 21.77% loss
evo 9: 286 rated - 227awhp = 20.63% loss

also the t25 gsx only pulled off a 149, although it's old enough that it may need some work to be as good as stock.

Yea with Scheides uping your boost a hair with Tephra and an Intake system that is what you made.

So it could be more than 18%.
