Re: Switchin to E-85

His filter was full of dirt and the main filtering screen was deformed some. The whole internal and screen design of the K&N fuel filter seems a bit cheap compared to something like the Aeromotive units. Even at 13psi it was leaning out too much and I had to abort the runs. I wasn't getting any knock, but with how clogged that filter was it would have been very bad news on pump gas under boost. The misfires he was getting before under boost were probably from it being very lean. There is a good chance that the HG is somewhat blown, since it pushes coolant.

Re: Switchin to E-85

Well, did the head gasket, put a custom fuel filter in it, and had shane try tuning it again. The car seems to be hitting fuel cut above 22 psi, but the chip burned for no fuel cut. Shane thinks it is still a programming issue on the chip though. He was able to get the car to do 314 at 22 psi, so once that is fixed i should be at around 400 at 28-30 psi on the DD.
