Thanks sir! It does always seem like its something though.

I think the reason why my nitrous didn't work was because my solenoids were old. You could hear them click but didn't really feel anything move. So hopefully that is all thats wrong and I can abuse this motor some more

Did you have to use the boost a pump to make that much on e85 without nitrous?

Yep had that boost a pump on at what they call "rich." Thats the only thing that changed between last year and more boost.

Yea that was a long but mighty fun day!

I'm pretty sure I figured out tonight that my nitrous wasn't working because of a bad relay. At least I hope it is only that, I'll find out on Friday for sure. I also think I'm going to have Shane order me a Felpro MLS headgasketI was kind of thinking maybe put some springs/retainers in it while the head is going to be off so I can rev it higher but we'll have to see.

Shane's tuning + nitrous = ftw



Huge thanks to Brian (1quick4) for staying super later and helping me put in my l19's and my headgasket the other night and Shane for the awesome tune and always staying late and helping me out. You guys rock!

Not too bad for a stock motor besides DKS cams, L19's, and a nice head gasket.

Went with a Fel-Pro Permatorque MLS headgasket which i got a pretty killer deal from Shane @ DB. Boost peaked at 33 and was around the 32 most of the run. Those numbers are with a little shot of nitrous.
