Stowing a motor Need Help

So i got the motor today. It is seperated the head is of and so is the oil pan. There is debris on the inside of the block. So Im in a big pickle. So what should i do leave it and worry about it in six months? Have it cleaned and put it back together? Can i keep the block together and clean it or does it have to be full disassembled to have it cleaned? I know if it is hot tanked it has to be full disassembled. Basically im asking if there is anyway i can clean it without having to take the block apart? Any help would be great?
