What are you talking about? It works, and I think it was redone not all that long ago.

www.shepracing.com works for me but the last update was 7-7-07.
www.sheptrans.com does not work for me. Are you saying that's still a good link?

Both sites work for me, shepracing.com has a link to sheptrans.com.

I thought after I gave you a ride in my car you changed your mind about selling your car?

Reboot. Don't use Internet Explorer.
Click Start
Click Run
Type in cmd and hit enter
Type in ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter
Try going to the site again

Re: Need an opinion on trannys
it wouldn't make or break the sale but I would probably be willing to pay a little more for one with a built tranny.
sheptrans.com works for me

Tried all that except for the don't use IE part. Worked first time then stopped again. So I kept trying. Seems to work 1 in 10 tries. Got to poke around the site at least.

Re: Need an opinion on trannys
I think it all depends on price. If your car has a stock tranny, it would be cheaper than with a rebuild. These days, the cheaper you can make things, the more they sell.

That is my thought exactly. I think the car would sell FASTER if I had a stock, but GOOD (lets say a fresh shep stage 1) and overall price of the car could be less. If it has a built tranny, and a twin disk, I'd want a lot more lol. But then some people dont comprehend why the price is significantly increased (by about 30-50% of what the new stuff cost). And people aren't buying stuff anymore.
What Kerry said. I was reinspired by riding in your Spyder to keep my car, but eh. I might have a new project lined up today haha
In terms of blowing up my tranny: I No Lift to shift, launch this thing, anti-lagged it, race from digs, etc. I actually race/use/drive my car and have a lot of fun doing it.

Whats the plan for new project?
also, what is the difference between anti-lag and NLTS ?
I guess I thought it was the same thing...

Re: Need an opinion on trannys
Anti lag on ECMLink retard the ignition timing a bunch to spool the turbo on the line when launching it. It sounds like your engine is falling apart. I like it haha. But my car was actually slower with it on...

Re: Need an opinion on trannys
I wouldnt tell anyone either. Id be too ashamed of myself to even post it :P. I say get the shep stage 4 and have some fun. Who cares about resale. Its all about how much fun you'll have before you sell it. Stock tranny probably couldnt handle NLTS and awd launches alot even a shep rebuild.

Re: Need an opinion on trannys
I just got some gay rust free POS 240sx.
Back on topic. I'll wait closer to spring to worry about this. Thanks all. It will either get a shep1, or a shep4 lol.
