It is rather easy to pull an evo tranny, now that I've done it once on my IX, once on scheides X, an about to be a second time on my IX this winter. Just make sure you have a slide hammer to pull the input shaft once you pull the driver side axle and after that its like 9 bolts. If you want help I'm down
