I couldn't bring myself to spend $1200 on another set of Dunlop WinterSport 3D's...even though on the X the car surpassed any other AWD car I've driven in the snow. Lots of local guys have had great luck with the Hankook W300's and these are the next-generation: I'm going to try my hand at a new tire that I haven't heard much about
: Hankook W310 i-cept evo.
I weighed them against the Dunlop Wintersport M3's and the w300's and had to play around with sizing to find different tires that would fit and not kill my wallet. In the end I got 235/40-18. Stock is 245/40-18.
