Re: 91 Galant VR4

I feel bad not many up dates here. Any dang way, I tore down the race motor, everything but the singed deck surface (block), blown out deck surface on the #3 cylinder in the head and the broken front ear on the block was perfect... IDK on that one. And the 50psi in 3rd gear, 11.3 A/F on E98 was to much, lifted the head and the MLS gasket and cylinder pressure did the rest.

So my new plan is drop off the MAP stage 5 head, all welded up, and a stock head, all my valve train, the hurt block with 3/4 fill of hard block and a stock block with my custom CP pistons and custom Carrillo rods to have a motor put together that will handle 850+ AWHP for a season on E98.

Other then the motor I plan to get the car out again on the slicks, E98, 45psi, new tranny parts to make sure it shifts into 2nd and 4th holds up, and a parachute on the back. No major changes to the setup other wise, I think 875AWHP at MAP will be enough to do what I what.

Sounds like a good plan! I hope to see this thing out this summer! Just curious do you run an o-ringed block?
