Do you think Im stupid or something?? Everytime I suggest something that is beneficial you always try and top me... its like a game or something.

I know what rust and oxidation and corrosion do I have dealt with many many examples and I know that if water comes in contact with steel or aluminum a chemical reaction occurs and the water starts to eat through the metal after a Log ass time. But surface corrosion can be just as bad. I know my Joe P MBC has a turn dial which is painted black and made of steel. Its already rusting....

Air does not cause near the amount of corrosion as does water. Just like in the thread about using straight water instead of antifreeze. Water is water a chemical reaction still occurs.

Salt on the other hand really speeds things up.

ANYWAY back to the topic of cleaning MBC's. If you use water make sure you blow it all out and dry it really well.
