Sorry to hear he didn't respond. Don't act rash and do something you'll regret. I'd be raging if I were you so don't act on it. Your best bet is to sue this guy. It's a pain in the ass, but at least you can hold him accountable. At least you can get the satisfaction of having him pay up.

Given the way this guy has acted, the car almost certainly has nothing of value left on it. If you feel you have to get it back, at least send someone to scout it out first to see if it's a waste of time. If it's still worthwhile, my offer still stands.
