Alright, do not put WD-40 on your belts! That is a petroleum product and rubber does not like petroleum products! That is like spraying your brake rotors with WD-40 to see if they are squeaking.
Check the tension of you alternator belt, it is probably just loose. You just need a 12mm wrench to tighten it. Loosen the locking bolt and then tighten the belt up by turning the adjuster bolt on the front. Then tighten the locking bolt.
