That would be a large no on the oil change thing Most anyone is capable of doing decent work. Just take your time, pay attention to detail and don't skimp on things that will bite you later and I know it will come out fine. As far as kits go, the SLS is a great deal. The ebay one will work as well. If cost is also a big issue, JET could probably hook you up as well pretty reasonable for custom and install.
