Re: Beater 2g
Pfft, after seeing what the billet 67's are doing its hard to turn away...My vote would go towards a FP HTA3586, but if you want something bigger and in the 67mm category, AWDMotorsports has a nice little wheel combo they've put together they call the 1000R:

I'm afraid for your bottom-end.

Re: Beater 2g
Who know what I'll end up doing. I'm wanting to throw in some rods and pistions though over the winter so I wont be afraid of spraying it so much. Wish there was a list that if you wanted to go 9's and trap 150 it would tell you how to do it as cheaply as possible.
Did get this in the mail today though, too bad I can't really put it to use.

Like schiedes said, after witnessing the numbers that the billet 67 put out, I'd be leaning towards that.

Re: Beater 2g
Billet 67 would be awesome. IF you build, would u go 2.3 or stay 2.0?
Sorry for your loss.

I think they sell them at Iwanttodealdrugs.com
Top Mounts are affordable now. A top mount billet 71 would be pretty baller. You may need a new motor though but in the mean time, you could just keep spraying it til it pops!

Re: Beater 2g
So FP said they'd fix it for ~$600, would that include an HTA wheel on it? fuk dude, honestly I would really consider going that route; you have an awesome setup right now, that would only improve upon what you already have going w/o the hassle of a whole new turbo setup or pushing the car waaay further than you already are. People have seen very appreciable gains switching to hta wheels, theres some threads on it in the tech section.

when I was at DB yesterday we were looking at the "thread" and it looked like a tangled mess of brown thread from someones cross stitching... pretty crazy.

I'd probably just keep rocking the 2.0 as it would be easiest. Eagles are cheap and just find a cheap piston combo.

Do I have to sign up on that website? haha That would be pretty baller, only time and good deals will end up with what route I go.

600 for the upgrade with the hta wheel. I am considering it but that turbo is getting close to maxing it out and if I could sell all the stuff and get a new bigger setup without spending much more than 600 it seems like a wash.

I had the filter off a couple times but always ran with one on. I guess it only takes one mistake to end up like this though

Shhhhh, brown sweater made more power but I guess I paid for it in the end.

Re: Beater 2g
No, the 3065 has the gt30 turbine wheel, not the 35r wheel. The DSM82 would be a good upgrade, hta wheel and more top end. Or be crazy and get the DSM86 (assuming you're sticking to a mitsu format turbo).
Based on your sale price of $680 plus the $600 fix/upgrade price, it would cost you another $400 to get a brand new hta 35r turbo. You'd be able to keep all your current setup too.
Good luck on the new setup, whatever you choose to go with. I'm always amazed how much power this car makes.
