Re: The O.G. members thread.
Well I figure I better sound off on this thread. The LSE crew and AJ mentioned it this weekend. I have no idea what number I was back on the old board, but I was still part of the OG crew.
I heard Ogie's name mentioned, I cant tell you how many times him and I would head into that hole-in-the-wall bar right next to Spin Cycle. A few beers/shots later, we were primed and ready to go. A few people down on University - Mainly Sammy, Mexican with a v6 Rustang, used to call me the sponge due to my drinking habits....

Old Skool. At least the oldest I could find a digital pic of. Yeah, that's Norm next to me, June 2000.

It's been modded up to about 500 WHP stage4 ported blower, got some frame rails, intake, computer bla bla bla.... but truth be told I need to drive like the slow old man I am this year or my license and life will really get screwed hard. Thinking about going up to RF on the 14 and running her hard and see what numbers she'll do? I do respect this board, most it's members, and DSM's in general. Seems like maybe the SVT guys are maybe a little bit more mature but also maybe some are a lot more stuck up as?
People, the good the bad and the ugly, and then there's Tom??? j/k.......
Anyway, I'll always have a place in my heart for this board.
Hope to see ya ll out there this summer!
If you see the old fart re-living his youth, passin by in a red vert Cobra, gimme a shout!

Sounds awesome. If I could afford a Cobra I would, no doubt about it.
Who did your tuning? Any pics? Do you post on any of the Mustang boards?
You can PM rather than clutter up this thread.

Nope, Mike came along way later, you have to have had a DSM last century to qualify.
Keith is the real old skool guy here. I heard about him running low numbers up in Keewatin when I was running 14's in my first DSM. My dad's ZR1 was still faster than my car back then.

Digital cameras weren't as common when I bought my first one. Maybe I have some old pictures of it that I can scan or something.

They are? My car hasn't actually been down much at all, I just haven't had the time or desire to take it to the track. That's changed this year.
Shane's got me beat by a long way, I can only catch up at this point. However if it'd take a little rivalry to light a fire under his ass and get that car back up and running, then I'll lay down the gauntlet. Come and get some.
