yea partial categories, when you add all 4, you still end up with 167%

if you look at approve and disapprove, its a 45/54 split in favor of disapprove. those equal 99% but are still only partial categories.

im just pointing out that the strongly approve/disapprove graph is extremely misleading.

i also wouldnt call a study that is based on an automated cold call machine, that targets people that are home during normal work hours, I.E. unemployed or retired people very accurate. god forbid you ever press the wrong button on a phone.

meh. Hes still got 3 more years, nothing you can do about that. Im sure the tide will change sometime during the presidency. Healthcare is such an unstable subject. and with all of the watering down and rumors started by conservatives, you couldnt expect that he was going to have a high approval rating. They should have gotten a LOT more done in that first year than they did, hell they had the majority, they could have passed anything though, but the party itself couldnt agree on shit, republicans are completly worthless and havent provided any solutions to the problems because it doesnt benefit them as a party to get things done while the other is in office.
I myself am approving of his job, its the government as a whole im not sure i agree with. Obama is only one man, he is trying to do his best with what he has to work with. We have relied on him much more than any other president EVER. Failing economy, failed healthcare reform, Wars, etc.

Here's why partisan politics are a joke. Obama hasn't united jack shit. There is more disparity between the parties than ever before. Hopefully this helps explain why I'm not afraid to support someone who isn't full blooded democrat or republican.

Didnt we already go over how approval ratings are bull shit. Notice a couple things..
on the republicans side:
Approval rating for clinton and obama are about the same. Clinton did a great job as pres, but apparantly the republicans didnt think so. But the republicans were complete nutswingers of bush. Then obama and the same thing as clinton.
But on the dem side, im surprized bush got the approval ratings he got. Hence why i call BS on all approval polls.

Same with the flip side buddy, if he were to ever do something right it wouldnt satasfy you. Its like you and a lot of the people in the strongly disagree, because hes the first black president hes supposed to be some hero and fix everything his first year. This is simply not achievable and he never promised such. What did you do that made 2009 such an epic year? Did you solve world hunger, Well shit then i disapprove of what you did last year. LOL
People had such high expectations from him because it was such an epic defeat and accomplishment, but its simply not achievable for ANY President to have to deal with as much as he did the first year of his presidency. Look at the poll i posted. Notice how when a tragedy struck it was met with a huge leap in approval, but then it shot down like a bullet. That to me strikes much harder than a gradual shift. It means that people were more or less "Hopefull" that the president would do a good job, but then they were quickly shot down when he sucked it up big time. Polls like these dont necessarily reflect the presidents job, but the overall countries mood at the time the poll is taken. (9/11 approval very high, because people were coming together as a nation with a hate against terrorism, but then went right down when they heard about the presidents actions right after... katrina same thing, saddams capture, same thing. etc) People are upset because they dont have jobs, the economy is in the shitter, they are sick with H1N1 and dont have health insurance so they cant go to a hospital. Then they turn to the fearless leader that decided to take on these super challenges.
Critics are people who cant DO, so they complain. So unless you can do something to fix this country, then please STFU, we dont need any more critics in this world.
