Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

I am probably down assuming the motor is broken in by then

We should see if Shane can squeeze us both in for our power tunes before the cookout So we can have great comparable results! Assuming by an act of god both our cars are good and ready

Haha, yeah I've hinted at that a bit. IDK if I'm going to make it to the cookout or not, just because I wanted to hit the strip that day. But I don't want to push it if there's and questionable break-in timing.

Haha, my excitement is hard to keep calm as well. Especially when I start watching fp black evo's on youtube. I'll be on that site for hours when I get into it. haha

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

Nice, I wish I would've listened to Shane and went BAP, but my setup has worked well so far, I haven't had the problems that Lomker has. 1400's here too.

Hope it stays that way. I have three fuel pumps. More is better.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

Yep, already have a dual pump setup. The 1st pump is a 255 and the second is a ford gt500 pump i think.

I was curious about that as well. The wheel looks like it was designed for something else and ground down. This is a pre-production version so maybe they will have a prettier looking wheel made later on?

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

Clipping can be used to make a little more power or to help keeping the exhaust wheel from melting/turbo failure on road race cars that never get a break for the turbo to cool down some.
