Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance
I was wondering want if you don't use the dyno is there any fee for that? And I also would like to know if there can be other cars there then just DSM's? I know that the day is for DSM's but i have friends that want to come. And I just wanted to know before I said Ooh sure you can come and then they get kicked out or something. And thank you for the info it's nice to organized for once.

Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance
You can bring whatever car you want. Its just a DSMstyle get together. A lot of us do not currently own DSMs. You need to read a little more, I don't even have to re-read this thread to know that it is $5 per person to eat, drink pop, and hang out. No need to dyno to come. There will be plenty of cars for that.

Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance
I second the curiosity of LSE cars showing off on the dyno?
I plan to come HOWEVER - Girlfriends birthday just happens to be the 30th of april so I'll have to chime back and let you know if and how many. Hell i'd love to make her tag along so I can show her off :P I haven't gotten to show her off since last summer! Only spectating of course. Id guess me +3 will attend. I will give you a more clear answer VIA PM probably.

If people aren't eating off the grill then it's 100% free for anyone to come and spectate at any time for the event.

Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance
I have a quick question. Considering LSE is practically an hour away, I'm considering getting a hotel up there and just staying the night so I don't have to make a bunch of trips back and forth. Are there any cheap ones around there? I'm on a tight budget so either way its going to hurt but I figure the price of gas back and forth both days in my truck would be about the same as a cheap hotel.

Motel 6 on 694 in Brooklyn Park is generally around $40-50/night.

For being cheap, it's not a bad place for the price.

Hm, well I'll have to check it out. Though I also have a wedding reception to go to on Saturday as well, so I guess we will just have to see how that day pans out.

I'll second that. I haven't stayed at that Motel 6, but I drive by it all the time. Its actually a pretty new building and it looks pretty nice on the outside.

Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance
Hmm. Well both sounds ok. I wish there was something in the middle though. Last time I stayed in a hotel that cost $50 a night it smelt like ramen noodles.

Shop around, you can find something I'm sure. I wish I was at my old house still, I had like 15 extra places to sleep there, I'd offer it up. Oh well.

Can I pitch a tent in the parking lot?!?
Wait, you can sleep in Walmart parking lots, just set up a camp ground at a local Walmart!

Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance
Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make it. I just found out today that I am being sent out to NY for work. We signed up a huge distributor and I am needed to make a presentation at their annual meeting. Unfortunately there isn't a way out of it and of course I have to leave on Sunday morning!

Re: DSMStyle.com Spring Opener / Dyno Day @ LSE Performance
Actually let me see how this plays out for a flight. We don't have to be there until 5pm on Sun, so if the flight leaves later I might be able to be the first one on the dyno. I know we can't get a direct flight into Buffalo NY though. Silly little million dollar deals...
