All democrats do is spend money, where do they think the money they spend comes from anyways (well besides borrowing it from China)? People want all these government programs and bailouts, it's our (taxpayers) money to begin with.

Then every time there is something happening in another country, we have to rush over and spend millions or billions of dollars that we don't even have to help them out. I agree with helping people in need, but it's foolish when we can't really afford it. I think this would keep happening no matter who the president is though.

We need someone who's a normal guy that lives modestly and isn't rich, then they would actually know what the value of a dollar is and know how the real world works. With the way campaigning is, this is probably never going to even come close to happening though.

did we forget about clinton? he was a democrat he turned a deficit into a 560 billion dollar SURPLUS.

then came bush, the republican. he turned that surplus into an 11 TRILLION dollar deficit. he spent more than 20 times the amount of money we actually had

seems to me recent history is the exact opposite of what you have stated

You see FBB, the greatest thing about this country is that you (at this time anyway) have the freedom to say your president is wrong, sucks, don't like him or what ever. Even the things he did get are so pork laden it makes any other administration look like boy scouts.

His statement, "What do you think a stimulus bill is? It's a spending bill.", is wrong. What a stimulus really is, is the re-insertion of money back into the marketplace that never should have been taxed out of it in the first place. This country is riding a very thin line between taxation and economic collapse. The government can't keep pulling money away from the private sector like it is without causing major damage.
