Re: beaterX project thread
Ok, tuesday update.
Crushed the BOV (I might have done this friday actually, before the dyno day, I can't remember!):
Important mod that I *should* have done pre-dyno day:
Figured out that the cargo net from the evo8 fits in the X, no more stuff flying around back there!
Today was busy busy! I went to Brookdale Mitsu this morning and got the bluetooth activated. I think the module will actually control more stuff in the car, but I'm not sure yet. It has a whole voice-activated control system in it. Kinda neat! Sync'd right up to my iphone, I made some calls for work while I was buzzing around, grabbed an impromptu lunch with Rosey and we called Hughes (why would he care? idk but he wanted to hear it! ), then I called my mom and talked to her for about 25 minutes on the way from Fridley to Eden Prairie.
Inbetween client stuff and lunch I made a trip to Classic Soft Trim in St. Anthony. These guys are fantastic, I should have more to share about that on Friday or Monday!

Lookin good! You need to get rid of the Mitsubishi and Lancer decals badges though. I loved your old evolution badge. Maybe throw one of those back on there to be different.

It's just a Lancer, though.

Re: beaterX project thread
LOL fuk'em! No hate, I just don't make it up there too often. Living in minneapolis and working in EP and Edina doesn't leave me much time to just go cruise around the north burbs

Re: beaterX project thread
OMG, you can run a stock BOV on these cars?!?!?!
I say leave it how it is, or go totally badgeless. Adds a nice sleeper touch to the car

At non-E85 boost levels? No problem. The stock turbo is lucky to hold 18 at redline, anyway.

FTFY Stocker seems to start leaking around 25psi though, so a little crush on a car like mine peaking at 26.5 or so should help just a little, and should help more down the road.

Still talking about shit u have no idea about? no problem.
Getting owned by someone that actually has experience and is doing it. sounds about right.
I'm just ribbing you big man, I like that CF evo X decal thing.
Hows that drive every day? 25psi? how long will that last?

Scheides and I both made accurate statements. A crushed stocker is good to 27-28 (varies for everyone) and that would be rather low for an E85 tune. I didn't even bother doing anything with my stock BOV or wga since I knew I wouldn't have the stock turbo for very long.

The last time I checked he owns an Evo X and you don't. Stop posting like a jackass already.
