The bodyshop was supposed to fix that but didn't. I'm not going to worry about it, if he cares he can take it back

Man, your X looks very nice! Looks great lowered, should have this stance from the factory. Is the inside of the wing gray/black or carbon fiber?

Black plastic. I wish it were either carbon fiber on the underside or just body color.

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!
In the name of science, and my anal obsession with having the best possible setup, I removed my WORKS shifter and installed a TWM just to get a feel for the differences. I'll sell the one I then decide isn't my favorite.
Initial impressions are the TWM has shorter throw, the knob sits lower, and it centers the knob in the shift boot area. It is not as comfortable for relaxed driving (keeping my elbow on the arm rest) though; the WORKS put the knob in the perfect location as far as that's concerned. I haven't done any actual driving yet (just pulled out and back into my garage) so I will know more later today after I give it a good drive.
Comparison of stock vs. TWM vs. WORKS. You'll notice that TWM's knob height is the lowest, but WORKS has the longest lever below the fulcrum ball. The stock angles the knob slightly rearward, TWM brings it to the left, and WORKS does both rearward and left.

Damn! You crazy mofo! Interested to see how you like them. Works seems best from the fulcrum point of view, how long is the swap for ya? Gah I don't wanna pull the console apart on mine :P

I had mine apart for like the 10th time today. The connector for the front o2 is buried behind the console toward the firewall. Didn't solve my issue. meh.

LOL will it make you mad if I told you I figured out how to get at that plug w/o pulling the console apart? F U Mitsu for putting something you would need to access when you are mega dirty in the interior where you really don't wanna be anything but clean!

Not at all. The hard way is the normal way for me. I could feel the plug and maybe if I yanked it off the bracket it attaches to I might have gotten to it. I'm not inclined to yank on important wiring that I can't see. lol.

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!
My guess is you'll stick with the WORKS shifter. I love my TWM as it sits just perfect for me. I'm only 5'6" so my seat is further up than yours so it all feels relatively well.
From the review and looks of the shifters, I think taller people would most likely go with WORKS, while shorter people would likely go with TWM.

Not a bad job at all, took me maybe 45-60 mins working alone. I figured out the trick to removing the star washers with a screwdriver (2 actually) while not damaging them.

I think you're really on to something there. I'm getting more used to the TWM now, but I do feel myself stretching for 3rd and 5th. We'll see how I feel after a week.

Yeah, after sitting in your car and trying out the WORKS shifter and how it compared to my TWM, I got to thinking. It makes the most sense because when I adjusted the seat to where I sit and tried your shifter, it felt very weird and awkward (maybe because I was used to the TWM). However the more I thought about it, the more I realized that if the seat was further back and if I could reach it normally, it would be perfect for taller people (such as yourself). I then went through the same thought process with my TWM and I came to the same conclusion but for shorter people.
Given that, I'd recommend the WORKS to taller people and the TWM for shorter people. The thing I haven't figured out yet is at what height is the gray area. You're 6'3" and I'm 5'6", difference of 9". Would someone who is 5'10"-11" have a hard choice between the 2 shifters? I'm thinking that WORKS would still be preferred even at those heights (unless you have really long arms). I'm just going to guesstimate that 5'9" and above is where the WORKS shifter would shine. TWM for 5'8" and below.
