Body Work and Paint Shop
Ok - Not sure when I'm going to get this done but wondering if anyone has had any good experience with a certain company or any company I should stay away from.
I need to have rust from the engine bay removed and the entire exterior of the car painted along with the engine bay.
I'm staying with white. Would like to use "Artic White" for my color. with possibly some sort of graphics using Yellow/Grey along the bottom of the car. (but it depends on design... would have to be really really really good in order for me to use it)

Re: Body Work and Paint Shop
Stay away from Phils body shop in Rosemount, always heard good things about them but my two experiances there have been complete CRAP.
Bode on the boards had someone hit the side of his car and he took it to Superior in Burnsville I believe, he hasn't had it more than a few months so I don't know how its going to look in the long run but so far you can't tell anything even happened and they only painted part of the panel that was damaged. We've gone looking for flaws but have come up with nothing.

I believe Brently on here does body work. Maybe he can steer you in the right direction.

Maaco in Osseo! They did mine for damn cheap. It's not factory quality, but not bad for the price I paid.

Well the guy that posted above is in the business and said he was soon going to be able to do side jobs... I would start there. Will probably be cheaper than paying full shop rate at a shop.

Sure I know. You can nitpick my paintjob if you get up close and find a couple flaws. But overall it turned out great, cost my 900 bucks, and I had it back in 3 days.

Re: Body Work and Paint Shop
As long as this thread is back, I would like to find a good quality paint place that can do rust removal and a respray the same color that is as good or better than the factory paint. It doesnt really matter what it costs as long as I get an accurate quote beforehand. I'll just save up for however long it takes.

Re: Body Work and Paint Shop
Take it to Modern Auto Body in Brooklyn Park. I've seen a lot of thier work, and it is flawless! You should definetly go check out that shop, very friendly and helpful people too. Their lot is always packed with cars. I live right by them, and I see a lot of classic muscle cars being done thier.
