I've got a slight issue..Center gauges

I have the center vent gauge pod thingy that SLS sells, but I cannot keep it staying on! Every bump I hit the damn thing falls out. What am I supposed to do? Glue it? With what? Bumpbs, launches, everything makes the 3 gauges I have fall out! I Don't quite know what to do, and how to keep then held in. I need help.

I have the same one from SLS. And I have the same problem. I might just super glue that thing on.

Have you guys tried some hot glue? Mine does the same thing once in awhile and I've been meaning to give this a shot but haven't gotten to it yet.

Well, i'm glad to see that this isn't just an issue with me. I'm getting ready to try n' talk to shep about this, to see what he's done with his setup. It always seems to fit perfectly, and with the launches he does, and it doesn't fly out at him, i'd say something is right.

Is SLS no longer a sponser on here anymore? I bet they could give you some tips.

Post up what you find out though. If I keep the car I will be buying that bezel.

That thing isnt too great anyways. You have to do some trimmings inside to make the boost gauges fit.

Re: I've got a slight issue..Center gauges

Why not just get creative and make a bracket of some sort that attached to the gauge plate and clips onto something inside the vent? There is no secret way to do it, just figure something out with wire or a bracket...

Re: I've got a slight issue..Center gauges

Well, word-for-word, this is what john shepherd told me:

"It's easy actually. The gauges have a bracket on the back to hold them in
and behind that is my roll cage so they are attached to that by .. well a
zip tie."

Spoken words of a true dsm'er. I don't have that roll cage though, so keeping the gauges in the damn thing is becoming a challenge.
