So i could, technically, take the crank from a 4g64 Mighty Max(engine doesn't matter, just the crank) and drop it in the 4g63, with new pistons, rings, and a rebuild. Right?
I know the motor won't bolt up to our tranies, that's not what i'm worried about. But that the crank will fit right in.
I may be able to get my hands on a 2.4l engine in the near future, and the nice thing is... the guys parting it out and selling a 2.4 from the sonatas. A crank i know would work. But for the life of me, i'm not sure why he wants to take the 2.4 out of his diamante//galant and drop in a 2.4t SRT-4 motor....
