trany fluid leaks

I got done replacing my axle seal and I noticed a new leak coming from the drive axle that goes from the transfer case to the rear wheels. Looks like it is coming out of both places that there is a u coupler. What is the problem there?

Thanks

That is a recall on the 1Gs I believe. If your transfer case has never been in for that recall you might as well try and get them to replace it. Otherwise, buy a new seal and pound it in.

okay...what is the seal called? So, I have to take those U joints apart?

Also, this is a 90 dsm...if that matters.

If you drop the transfer case, the driveshaft slides right out. It would be the transfer case output shaft seal I believe?
