Stuck Power Antenna

My power antenna is stuck, not broken, but stuck. I know it's not broken because the two sections of the mast I managed to unstick move up and down like they should when I turn on/off the radio. I only managed to get the bottom section and very top section loose with some liquid wrench. I tried soaking the rest of the sections with liquid wrench but nothing, and I can't get any grip on the damn thing. Anyone have any ideas on how I could get the rest of the mast free moving?

Re: Stuck Power Antenna

Lots of rust penatrant and keep working it up and down. Once you get it loose clean it with some brake clean sprayed on a rag.

I believe I have an extra mast lying around. If you want I could bring it up to the LSE opener if you're going to be there.

If you don't fix it soon it will end up burning out your antenna motor.

I'll keep workin' it with liquid wrench and what not. Not sure if I'm going to the opener or not, but I'll let you know if I need it, thanks man.

Re: Stuck Power Antenna

i have the same problem too, but it started after a car wash.
my antenna wouldnt pop up even when the antenna motor are pushing it up.
i'm not sure what is causing the problem.
i think that it is old and when water kind of find its way down, the antenna just dont function right. the antenna might have the water stain around it.\
not sure.
