Tial 38 w/g vacuum line routing

Another vac. line thread. My question is on my tial it has an opening on both sides of it (i'll photoshop a pic), and only have one banjo fitting so I have an open hole and then a spot that has a vacuum source. Is this ok or do I need to order another one and have a vacuum line on both sides of the wastegate? Thanks Ryan

Excellent drawing!

I'm pretty sure you leave one of them just open, unless you're going for super high boost.

Re: Tial 38 w/g vacuum line routing

On my old setup, I had the hole on the very top of it left open, and I used the one that was on the side. That was with my MBC.

When I switched to a Profec-b, I used the top port.

It was a long time ago so I don't remember the exact resoning, but that is what I was told was the correct way.

use just the lower fitting the upper is left open (when using the springs in it or a manuel controler)
hook to the top if using a electronic boost controler
